Description: Line data representing 2021-2025 pavement seal or overlay candidates within the City of Bellevue. Pavement Seal – a mixture of asphalt emulsion, crushed rock and water is applied to the surface of the roadway to fill small cracks and provide a new wearing surface. This is typically for local roads that are in good condition and takes about a day or two to complete. Pavement Overlay – the top surface (typically 2-3 inches) of the roadway is ground off and replaced with new asphalt. This is done for local and arterial roads in fair to poor condition and takes about a week to complete.
Description: This layer is not drawn on the map. It is only used as a simple way to display a projects legend. The data is intentionally moved out of the Bellevue mapping area to the east.
